Since I cannot do justice remarking on this remarkably touching & intense movie, so I’ll just quote from wiki what it is all about.

As like other movies which I have seen recently from “the list”, i learned a great deal (at least a little) about american history when the story is about (1930s till 1950s) …. apart from enjoying the intense romantic situations played magnifienctly by Barbra Streisand and Robert Redford.

Just to mention a few things like WASP, McCarthyism, Hollywood Blacklist.

And lastly the lovely song by Barbra Streisand which is truly soul of the movie …
