A couple of months back Citibank was offering “Don DVD” and now they are offering “1983 world cup CD” if you open an NRI bank account with them !!!
maybe itz me, but I find it both hillarious and annoying !!
If i have to open a NRI bank account with some bank I think last thing would be to find out which DVD is the bank offering with the account.
But citibank guyz must have done their homework to launch these kind of campaigns (these ads / banners are pretty regular on yahoo, at least on my yahoo mail account.) Or maybe there are some weird keywords with my yahoomail account that make them think that if they offer me a Don DVD or a 1983 world cup DVD, then I’ll open up an account with them.
(ps – i dont know why I am blogging this, but there was this sudden urge to blog something and here it is.)
